The T.C. Williams High School Marching Titans earned a rating of II — “Excellent” — at the Virginia Band and Orchestra Directors’ Association State Marching Festival on Saturday at West Springfield High School.
The Titans’ finished highest of any of the six schools in their class, with two schools earning “Good” ratings and none attaining “Superior.” A week before, the Marching Titans finished second in the Tournament of Champions, held at Lee Davis High School in Mechanicsburg, Va.
You can see the Marching Titans as they perform their competition show at halftime of this Saturday’s football game between T.C. Williams and Robert E. Lee at Parker-Gray Memorial Stadium. Kickoff is slated for 1:30 p.m.
